I love it when a plan comes together.  We just got back from San Diego and now it's time to get ready for the trip.

The plan is starting to come together with just a couple of hiccups.  As it turns out the folks I am suppose to meet at the campground outside the track are going to be coming in on Friday instead of Thursday.  So after a 14 hour drive I get to party by myself on Thursday evening.  Since I have never done a race before I don't know what to expect.  I am fairly easy going and don't have a problem with making new friends so I am pretty sure Thursday night will be OK.

That is the only "problem" we have had in planning this trip.  If that's all that goes wrong I will be very happy.

The tech side is coming along well and like I said before we will be able to transmit LIVE video from the campground on the days leading up to the race. 

If you can't make this race or ever wondered what it would be like camping with a bunch of NASCAR fans this is your chance to check it out.  From what I have seen it can be a ton of fun.
