Trips No Comments

The choice which you have to make is very difficult if you have to choose between two or more five star Bloemfontein hotels, because of the luxury and good quality service that all of them offer. The money paid for this kind of luxury is absolutely their value worth.

All of these deluxe rooms come with king-size beds almost in a terrace like room, gorgeous views and lots of space. Some of these hotels have the most amazing style and décor and this shows you that only the best interior designers are responsible for creating this look and atmosphere.

These hotels usually get guests that are coming back over and over again, because of the comfortable and luxurious stay that they offer. All of these people enjoy staying in such hotels, because everything which they offer is of the highest quality. You won’t expect this from South Africa accommodation, but I can assure you that it is. Most of these hotels also come with it’s own bar and relaxing lounge, which makes it great for you if you are an introvert and don’t like to mingle with all kinds of people.

They also offer luxuries like air conditioning, a cable TV, hairdryer, an in room safe for all your valuable belongings, coffee and tea making facilities, etc. The best part is that these hotels also offer world class cuisine meals and one shall give every last cent just to sleep over for one night in such a hotel, because the experience is just amazing.

Well, if the money is kind of on the scarce side, then there is always the option of searching and staying in cheap hotels, because they also are readily available.

Ways to find such hotels is by searching on the Internet. In some parts they may not be readily available but you will find one of the three. They usually have a cable television, continental breakfast and a clean environment which is nice if you want to avoid all those ugly and filthy sheets from other places.

Try searching for boarding houses, in areas where you can not find cheap hotels, which let out their rooms for the night especially in vacation times when all the students are gone for the holidays. They aren’t so expensive.

If you are travelling to South Africa, the best way to book Africa hotels is if it is included in your travel package. This can give you a big discount. The nicest thing about this is that the discounts are usually phenomenal and one usually leads to another. If you can’t be helped anywhere, go and search on a good search engine or ask friends and family if they can recommend a certain place to you.

Well, whether you want to stay in a 5 star hotel or in a cheap hotel, fact of the matter is that there is a wide range of these hotels available in Bloemfontein to suit everyone’s needs and budget. Just make sure you do some decent research on the Internet before you leave your country for a vacation in South Africa.

Essential Info: Disneyland Vacations For Toddlers

Disney World No Comments

Disneyland was designed for kids of all ages – and toddlers are no exception! There are many things that you can enjoy with your toddler – so many things in fact, that unless you will be staying for several days, you won’t have time to do them all.

Start with Toon Town. Here is where you will find your toddler’s favorite Disney Characters, including Mickey and Minnie Mouse. All of the Characters have homes in Toon Town, full of things that will amaze your toddler, and make them laugh.

Your toddler will certainly like the Disneyland Railroad. This is a great way to get around the park, because there are stations in New Orleans Square, Toon Town, Tomorrowland, and on Main Street. This will amuse your toddler, and give you a chance to see some sights and rest a bit.

Its A Small World is very suitable for toddlers. Music and colors will keep your son or daughter mesmerized while you enjoy a relaxing ride across the water. The Storybook Land Canal Boats is another good choice, as it will take you through the miniature villages that your daughter or sonwill be quite familiar with from their story books.

Rides that you and your toddler must not miss include all of the rides in Fantasyland, King Arthur’s Carousel, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, the Circus Train, and the Mad Tea Party. Rides that are appropriate for youngsters, but that may cause a little fear are the rides that are dark. These include Peter Pan’s Flight, Pinocchio’s Daring Journey, Alice in Wonderland, and Snow White’s Scary Adventure. Buzz Lightyear is a popular ride for all toddlers.

There are other areas of the park that have attractions and rides that are appropriate for toddlers. Remember that Disneyland is a place for kids of all ages. Pay particular attention to the height and age requirements for each attraction, and avoid taking your toddler to rides that they will not be able to enjoy. This will only cause your son or daughter disappointment.

Stick to the areas where the toddler appropriate attractions are located as much as possible. As an adult, you realize that some rides are simply not safe for small people – but your small person will not comprehend this! Your Disneyland vacation should
be enjoyable for everyone, and Disneyland has made sure that there is something for everyone at the park. It is up to you to keep your daughter or son happy, and to keep them interested in the rides and attractions that they are meant to enjoy.

And wouldn’t it be great if your toddler was potty trained before that vacation. Discover the best methods

Road Warriors back on the Road

Trips No Comments

We are still “on the road”.

We spent all last week just outside of Indianapolis.   Didn’t get to put the Foldcat in the water or do any fishing but we did manage to hit the Indiana state fair and eat all the wrong things.  Saw a horse show and made new friends with a couple ponies.  Jon turned 6 on the 9th so the 4 of us had a little party  and blew out the birthday candles.

As a special treat to him I started to teach him how to drive my Radio Control truck.  It goes almost 40mph so he has never been able to touch it until now.  I started him off going straight on a dirt road and he caught on pretty quickly.  We are going to give it another shot tomorrow.

We got into a campground outside of Lexington Kentucky early last night.   The roads around here are crazy narrow and winding.  It reminds me of the mountains of Colorado but with tons more trees and vegetation.  By the time we hit the campground I was ready for a stiff drink and an hour of quiet time.

It turns out we are at the wrong campground.  We are staying at a state park and the GPS’s were not much help getting to the right place.

We stayed here for the night anyway and we were going to go to the other one today.  I was talking to another camper this morning and he said there is no way he would take our rig down the road to the other place.  We decided to scout out the other place before we took the RV.  Good thing we did.  The other campground is awesome but like Bill said the road was terrible.  Even worse it’s only one lane for a good 12 miles.  I have no idea what I would do if another rig was heading the other direction.

We made the decision we are staying here until we have to head back home on the 22nd.

Business Stuff:

Jen’s meeting went well and the swim team is signing up as a non-profit when we are getting back.

We are still getting our workouts in.  I close all the blinds so no one can see.  I can just imagine what people think when they see this thing rocking back and forth.

Other stuff

I know I still owe everyone a review and video of the foldcat and our madien voyage.  I have the review written but have not got the videos edited yet.  I will have them done this week pkus some extras to include this trip.  I have a couple things planned that should make it worth the waut.

I am off to teach Samantha and Jonathan how to ribe a bike.  WISH ME LUCK!

Stayed tuned for pics and videos.

Strange And Exciting Places To Tour In Nebraska

Why We Created this Site No Comments

Weird and Fun Places to Visit in Nebraska

Nebraska offers many great things to visitors, from great food and exhibits in Omaha and Lincoln, to traveling the trails along Scotts Bluff . Whatever you want to do, you are likely to find it on your Nebraska Vacation.

If you keep an eye out, you will also spot some very different sights, unique things that you never new existed throughout various Nebraska tourism regions. Of course, when you see these things, you will likely be compelled to stop and find out what all the fuss is.

Carhenge - Nebraska tourism

One of the unique and very interesting things you will find on your trek through Nebraska is Carhenge. It is a celebration of the surreal!

As the name suggests, this is a replica of one Stonehenge, one of the most famous sites in the world. The only irony is that instead of monolithic slabs of stone, this structure is made completely from the shells of old automobiles.

Carhenge is not the only sculpture in the park, of course. The Spawning Salmon, created by Geoff Sandhurst shows a giant fish rising from the earth. Dino, is a sculpture of a historic dinosaur that looks amazeingly like a Tyrannosaurus Rex. The Fourd Seasons is a sculpture that is very unqiue to the state – it shows the four stages of the wheat that is harvested in the area. The Carnestoga is a station wagon that is scuplted to resemble a Conestoga wagon from times past – it even has wagon wheels and “horses” hitched to the front!

Carhenge is open all year, and the best visiting hours are during the day. Admission to the park is totally free, but they willingly accept donations. These donations are used for the maintenance and upkeep of the area.

So enjoy your vacation through Nebraska - you will be happy that you found it!
